I have now moved into real estate and as a Property Acquisitions Consultant I am now working to get the very best deals for my clients in their property purchases. A Longer Story

My name is Tim Dow. I was born and bred in the promised land, the beautiful far north of New Zealand. Growing up in Kaitaia, then moving south to Whangarei after I finished school to further my education and embark on a professional rugby career with Northland. I’m still here and still doing that.

Education wise I first completed a diploma in sports and leisure, with a focus on sports business management and personal training. I have also completed a diploma in theology. I have been a physical education teacher, social worker and professional Rugby player for the last 10 years.

Since I made a brief appearance on the bench in 2000 followed by my NPC debut in 2001 v Taranaki I have now played over 65 times for the province. Twice named player of the year and twice the teams top try scorer, I have no intention of slowing down any time soon.

Having recently returned from 18 months of professional rugby, traveling and extended honeymoon in Italy and across Europe, I have joined GoodGround Real Estate as a way to commit to the region ensuring that I will be here for a good while yet.

One thing I have noticed since I entered real estate is that absolutely everyone has an opinion about real estate agents! Time and time again I am asked “why I would want to join GoodGround real estate?” Well I looked around and soon realised that there was plenty of space in the market for a company focused on a high standard of service. I am confidant that my choice to join GoodGround is a good choice because of the quality of the team and the drive to get excellent results for our clients.
